On Sunday February 11, 2018 I had the privilege of preaching at Madison Square CRC in Grand Rapids MI. The church was going through a sermon series on the seven deadly sins and they asked me to preach on the sin of Vain Glory. I decided to use Mark 9:38-50 as my text. I also decided to use this sermon to address the actions of the Synod of the Christian Reformed Church from a year and a half earlier regarding the Doctrine of Discovery Task Force report.
